Alumnas de 3er año visitan la Biblioteca Nacional
En mayo, en una charla informal, con los alumnos de tercer año, les sugerí que las bibliotecas eran ámbitos donde podían poner a prueba su curiosidad, pues al entrar en ellas, llama la atención los títulos de los libros, y un título nos va llevando a otro, y sin darnos cuenta hemos pasado horas husmeando en una biblioteca. Que además, eso nos ayudaba a descubrir temas, como en una caja de Pandora. También les comenté los lugares que podrían visitar, tales como la Biblioteca Nacional, la Biblioteca del Congreso, y la posibilidad de encontrar una en el barrio.
A los pocos días, las alumnas me sorprendieron con sus comentarios, y su alegría al contar que habían visitado la biblioteca nacional, y algunos también se habían acercado a la biblioteca del barrio. Esta actividad no había sido una tarea, simplemente, fue un comentario, sobre la importancia de leer libros, e ir descubriendo aquello que el libro nos daba, cuán importante era, pues al abrir un libro le íbamos dando vida.
A continuación, los dejo con la lectura de la experiencia de estas estudiantes, que a su corta edad, ponen de manifiesto su curiosidad y su interés. Quizás, para algunos de los adultos que leemos este artículo, la visita a una biblioteca haya sido algo natural, pero no lo es, para estudiantes, que ya desde muy niños, las computadoras e internet son sus lugares habituales de consulta.
Biblioteca Nacional
El día 11 de mayo visitamos la Biblioteca Nacional con la idea de buscar información acerca de la vida de Túpac Amaru.
Ni bien entramos al lugar, nos recibieron en una recepción en la cual debíamos presentar nuestro documento; Luego nos dieron un ticket, el cual se tenía que presentar a la salida, nos indicaron el piso al que teníamos que ir para buscar libros y nos dirigimos al sector de ascensores.
Al llegar al piso, había una división de computadoras con un manual; allí encargabas, por computadora, los libros que necesitabas. Mientras nos traían los libros, esperamos en una sala con sillones y una pantalla, en ella aparecen los nombres y los libros que cada uno ordeno y te avisa cuando llegan al piso.
Al aparecer nuestros nombres en pantalla, nos dirigimos al sector de retiro de libros. Una vez con ellos, nos sentamos en una de las mesas del sector de lectura y comenzamos a leer los libros y a anotar los aspectos más importantes que aparecían.
Los libros que encargamos en este sector eran más antiguos, se notaba también por el estado en el que estaban pero tenían muy buena información.
Luego de leer los libros encargados en este sector, nos dirigimos a un piso más arriba. Allí, se encontraban todas las biografías, por lo que queríamos buscar la de Túpac Amaru.
En el sector de arriba, había que hacer el mismo proceso que en el sector de abajo para encargar las biografías y los libros.
Fue muy lindo poder ir allá a estudiar, es un ámbito muy tranquilo en el cual te relaja y es muy fácil incorporar la información así. Por lo menos, a nosotras nos ayudó mucho. Pudimos conocer un nuevo lugar y una nueva fuente de información que no requiere internet.
