Educación Sexual Integral para todos/as

Llamamos ESI al espacio sistemático de enseñanza aprendizaje que promueve saberes y habilidades para la toma de decisiones concientes y críticas en relación con el cuidado del propio cuerpo, las relaciones interpersonales, el ejercicio de la sexualidad y de los derechos de los niños, las niñas y los jóvenes.

• Comprende contenidos de distintas áreas y/o disciplinas, y considera situaciones de la vida cotidiana del aula y de la escuela, así como sus formas de organización. 
• Responde a las etapas del desarrollo de las alumnas y de los alumnos. 
• Se incluye en el proyecto educativo de la escuela. 
• Promueve el trabajo articulado con centros de salud, las organizaciones sociales y las familias. 

La ESI es un derecho de los chicos y de las chicas de todas las escuelas del país, privadas 88o estatales, confesionales o laicas, de nivel inicial, primario, secundario y para la educación superior.  Son objetivos de la Ley 26.15: Incorporar la educación sexual integral dentro de las propuestas educativas orientadas a la formación armónica equilibrada y permanente de las personas. 

• Asegurar la transmisión de conocimientos pertinentes, precisos y confiables y actualizados sobre los distintos aspectos involucrados en la educación sexual integral. 
• Promover actitudes responsables ante la sexualidad.
• Prevenir los problemas relacionados con la salud en general y la salud sexual y reproductiva en particular.
• Procurar igualdad de trato y oportunidades para mujeres y varones.
